Komen Pink Promise Brunch

Food! Shopping! Komen! Breast Health! (We had you at “food” and “shopping” didn’t we?) It’s that time of the year again – time for The Susan G. Komen Foundation of Greater Kansas City 17th Annual Pink Promise Brunch.

17 years – wow! This year’s fantastic event will be held at the Overland Park Convention Center on Saturday, May 10th from 9am-1pm. A special celebration, Sisterhood: Remembering the Promise is the theme of this year’s brunch. We are thrilled that Diagnostic Imaging Centers is once again the presenting sponsor, and Dr. Linda Harrison will again say a few words on what sponsorship of the brunch means to our employees.

The event will honor those who are fighting to beat breast cancer – from the survivors who inspire us to the researchers who offer promise for our daughters to the supporters who help along the way. We couldn’t be more proud to support such a great cause. This year the prestigious Legacy Promise Award will go to Denise E. Gilmore, the President and CEO of the Kansas City Jazz District Redevelopment Corporation. The guest speaker is Dr. Sheri Prentiss, the Susan G. Komen 3-Day National Spokesperson.
